Story Writing
Questions:
Was his story planned
out from beginning: Yes and no. In the beginning, I was just going with the
flow as far as his character was concerned. It was when Amanda asks him about
his parents that I had to start figuring out his backstory and figure out who
Chuck was.
What song/songs that
helped in writing this generation: Suddenly – by Billy Ocean, Mirrors – by
Justin Timberlake, That’s Where You Find Love – by Westlife,
Was there another
ending to this generations story: Yes, originally Amanda was supposed to
die from childbirth when Scarlett was born. I went back and forth for weeks and
when it finally came time to write the moment when the doctor tells Chuck about
Amanda, I couldn’t do it. I didn’t want
to put Chuck or the kids through that.
What’s one thing
about this character that that has not yet been revealed that you would like
readers to know: Chuck has a bad temper. I mean BAD. He is the most loving,
sweet, kind-hearted man to his family; but he has a difficult time interacting
with people he doesn’t know.
What’s one thing you
would change if you could rewrite his story: I wouldn’t change anything. I
like him the way he is.
What’s your favorite
thing about him: How he watches out for his family.
What’s your favorite
thing about this generation: How these two people came together after
experiencing heartbreak and made a happy, loving home for their family.
Mmmm *daydreams about Chuck* *dies* LOL. That is so true, I never knew he had a bad temper. I like his cowboy hat... :D
ReplyDeleteEven with grey hair and wrinkles he still looks good!
DeleteOh, he would get into fights with people while in public. It was crazy! But he never once lost his temper with Amanda or the kids.
He doesn't wear the cowboy hat as much anymore since he's not doing so much on the ranch now that Charlie is taking over, but it's fun to see him in one.
Thanks so much again for the idea to do this! Doing it for Bridge and Carson helped me figure out what to do for their story. =D
Aww yay! I'm happy this helped you so much. *dances* You're very welcome.
