About/Awards

Welcome!
Hi there,  I’m Sandybeachgirl.  I’ve been playing The Sims since the very first game and for many years I was okay with just playing. Several years ago, I stumbled across some Sims stories and immediately wanted to start my own.

This story is my first attempt at writing a Sims story. The whole premise is that each generation must overcome challenges and learn to listen and follow their hearts.  It’s the story of the Hobble family which began with the founder, Amanda Salisburg, moving to Appaloosa Plains from the city. She moved to the country with dreams of finding a cowboy and living with the horses.

The legacy continues with George Davila, a psychologist who wants to help his siblings deal with the death of their father. His siblings, though, aren’t so happy with his attempts. While attempting to help his older brother and younger sister, he crosses paths with someone who has been hurt by others in the past and, as always, he feels the need to help them. Will his efforts come to fruition or will they blow up in his face?

Couple things to know:
  • ·     At times, this story will contain material that is more suitable for a mature audience. There is a warning before you read this story, but just in case, I’m placing a warning here. This story at times can contain adult situations, language and sometimes deal with subject matter and contain images that may be disturbing to some
  • At the end of each generation I will have a poll to determine the next heir
  • Some legacy writers choose to follow a set of rules; for the purpose of storytelling I will not be following any rules.  If you're interested in checking them out, just go here.
  • All children will have names with British origin or closely tied to British history. Why? Because Hobble is a British name and I myself have a slight obsession with all things British (I was one of those crazy people that woke up at 3 am to watch the royal wedding).  =D
  • All children will receive one trait from each parent. Which ones? The ones that I feel will fit the best with their story. The other three traits will be chosen by me also, but they won’t necessarily be traits from the parents. I figure we’re all products of our homes so each child should be something like each parent.
  • If you're interested in reading other Sims 3 legacies head here.
  • If you've gotten here and are wondering "What in the world is Sims 3?" then check it out here.
  • You'll find Sims 3 stories that I like on the right hand side of this blog. Check them out. They're awesome!

Thanks for stopping by!
