Story Writing Questions:

Was her story planned out from beginning:  Yes, there was a definite beginning, middle, and end. Most of her story remained the same from the beginning. It did take a little longer to tell then I had originally thought since I had a hard time letting the characters go.

What song/songs that helped in writing this generation:  You’re the Inspiration – Chicago, Close Your Eyes – Michael Buble, Now and Forever – Richard Marx, One More Day – Diamond Rio, My Heart Will Go On – Celine Dion

Was there another ending to this generations story:  No, besides how Carson died.

What’s one thing about this character that that has not yet been revealed that you would like readers to know:  Gosh, I think Bridge has been pretty much fully revealed. She was the type of character who laid it all out for everyone to see.

What’s one thing you would change if you could rewrite her story: Not a single thing.

What’s your favorite thing about her: How passionate she is.

What’s your favorite thing about this generation:  Has to be the relationship between her and Carson. I have to admit, that when the heir vote took place I was secretly rooting for Jeff or Scarlett to win. Once I decided to make Bridgette the heir (since Jeff got his own story from the tie), and I started writing her story, I soon realized that this wasn’t just Bridge’s story; it was Bridge and Carson’s story.

  1. It's so cool how you can think that the story will mainly be about one character, but then you quickly find out that the character wouldn't be the same without another person that significantly changes their lives or something. Love stories are so touching to read. I can't imagine loving only one person my whole life, LOL, and how difficult that would be to lose them. I just mean like I dated a few people before marrying my husband.

    1. It is neat how the story changes as you write it. I think what surprises me the most is how the characters start to dictate the direction of the story. Carson did that a lot. Jeff does it a lot too. It seems to be the guys. . .lol!

I think for most people dating is a way to figure out what you don't want or like. At least that's what it was for me. So when my hubby came a long I was like. "Oh! There he is!" =D So in that case, both Bridge and Carson were rare birds indeed; only really loving one person.

      Thanks for commenting, LateKnight!

  2. I completely agree with LateKnight. Sometimes, the story becomes centered around someone you had no intentions of being so focused on. And it makes it that much better. My first generation was supposed to be about Aaliyah, but it ended up having a lot of story about Antonio and his family. Rae was supposed to die and stay dead...didn't happen.

Sometimes, you can't do anything but go with the flow...

    1. I'm slowly learning that the characters and story know best. =D

That's so interesting that your story changed like that. It's amazing how the story changes sometimes from beginning to end.

Thanks for reading and commenting, Blythelyre!
